Samuel was born about 1700 probably in Salem, Massachusetts ^[1] He moved with his father to Windham, Connecticut in 1713. Samll married Elizabeth Holt on 16 November 1727 in Windham, Connecticut, United States.^[2]

Administration on the estate of Samuel Coburn was granted 7 July 1783 to John Brewster of Windham^[3] and an inventory taken 11 August 1783 ('Mr. Samuel Coburn late of Windham').^[4]
