Biography

Francois (Cochon) Cochon dit Laverdière died young.

Francois Laverdiere was born and baptized on April 30, 1774 at Saint-Jean, Île d'Orléans, Québec.[1]

He was the son of Francois Cauchon and Marie Catherine Patry.[2]

He died on April 21, at the age of 12 years, and was buried on April 22, 1786 at Saint-Jean, Île d'Orléans, Québec.[3]

It is interesting to note that he is one of four children to die within days of each other.
