Biography

Audrey Leisla Cockerill was born 8 Feb 1900 in North Riding, York, Ontario, Canada. She was the daughter of Robert Thomas Cockerill and Alice Traviss.^[1]

1 Oct 1920 Audrey Cockerill married Pirie Carless Silverthorn in St. Clair County, Michigan. Parents: Robert Cockerill/Mary A Travis and Wm Silverthorn/Ellen Carless. ^[2]

1930 U.S. Census Pirie C Silverthorn (age 31, spelled Perrie) and his wife Audrey (age 30) are living on a farm in Brockway, St. Clair, Michigan with their children William R (age 1) and Marguerite L (age 0). They own their home. Audrey was born in Canada-Eng, she immigrated in 1901, and was naturalized. All the others were born in Michigan. Age at first marriage: Pirie-22; Audrey-20. Pirie is a farmer. ^[3]

Pirie Silverthorn passed away at age 39 on 25 May 1937. in Brockway, St. Clair, Michigan. ^{[4] [5]}

29 Nov 1947 Audrey Silvertorn (widow, age 47) married Roy W Hazzard (carpenter, age 47) in Wood County, Ohio. Parents: Robert Cockerill/Alice Travis and Aaron Hazzard/Sarah Mura.^[6]

Audrey passed away 1989 and is buried in Elmwood Cemetery with Pirie Silverthorn in Yale, St. Clair, Michigan. ^[8]
