Biography

Elisha was a Friend (Quaker)

Elisha was born about 1724 in Newport, Rhode Island. He was the son of Abraham Coggeshall (abt.1682-1758) and his wife Elizzabeth. [1]

Elisha married Elizabeth Russell, daughter of Benjamin and Abigail Russell of Dartmouth, on 2d 8m 1746 [2 Oct 1746].[2][3]

He died at age 84 on 31 December 1808.[4] He is buried in the Coggeshall Burial Ground in Newport, Rhode Island.[5]
