Biography

John Colby was born in Salisbury, New Hampshire in 1816, the son of Seth Kendrick Colby and Mary Clay. He and Eunice Dunlap married in Salisbury in 1845. John Colby died in Salisbury in 1892 and is buried in the Mills Cemetery there.
