Sarah Colcott was the daughter of James Colcott and Elizabeth Taylor.
On the 28th December 1871, at St. Paul's Church, Geelong, by the Rev. Ralph Barker, Victor Elkington, of Mount Moriac, was married to Sarah Colcott, fourth daughter of James Colcott of Curdie's River, Camperdown.
She and Victor had son George Frederick at Mount Moriac in 1873. Marian Elizabeth (1875), Florian (1876), Lilian (1878), John Albert Victor (1879) and Adrienne (1880) were all born at Winchelsea.
Sarah passed away in 1882 at Winchelsea, Victoria. She was 33.
