Biography

Bruce Benjamin Coldwell was born in March 1906 in Nova Scotia.[1] He was the son of Adelbert Coldwell and Josephine Eagles.[2]

In 1911, Bruce Coldwell lived in Kings, Nova Scotia, Canada, with his parents, Adelbert and josie Coldwell, 3 children and his sister.[3]

In 1921, Bruce Coldwell lived with his father, Adelbert Coldwell, a widowed farmer, and three siblings.[4]

Alice Elizabeth Eldridge, 19, and Bruce Benjamin Coldwell, a 29 year old farmer, were married on 18 Sept 1935 at the bride's residence in Hebron, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of Nathan K. Eldridge and Elizabeth Ellen Crosby. The ceremony was performed by Ernest S. Mason of the United Baptist Church, with Nathan Lynnwood Eldridge and NIna Gertrude Parter, both of Hebron, as witnesses.[2]

An obituary was published for Bruce Benjamin Coldwell, 92 years old, on 29 Aug 1998. He died in Gaspereau, Kings, Nova Scotia.[5]
