Biography
Billy was born in 1805 and he died in 1864.
Research Notes
According to a manuscript by Willis B. Newton titled Recollections of an Octogenarian, Billy was on a wagontrain with his family heading to California from Texas. He died on the way in New Mexico and was buried near Fort Cummings. Unfortunately, the manuscript is no longer available online but there are several sites that reference it such as http://www.angelfire.com/ar/pyeatt/wagontrain.html.
