Joseph married Anne Dyer on 2 April 1793 in Truro, Barnstable, Massachusetts, United States.[2]
Note:
One of the first settlers of Bucksport, Me., and lived neighbor to his half brother, Benjamin Gross; who m. Mercy, dau. of Cornelius Hamblen.
