Anthony Padua Cole was born on 29 March 1899 at the family home of 86 Bride Street, Dublin. He is the only son of Andrew Cole (a grocer) and Jane Cogan.[1][2][3]
Tragically, Anthony died at only ten hours old due to the prolonged labour and asphyxia. [4][5]
Anthony was buried in Glasnevin cemetery, South Section, Plot VA 66. [6][7]
Anthony had two older sisters, Brigid Mary and Mary Teresa. There were no more children born in the family.
Research Notes
Baptism record:
Anthony was probably baptised immediately after his birth due to his critical condition. His baptism may have been recorded later in a local church. This has not been researched as records are not publicly available.
