Margaret Mary Josephine Cole was born on 4th April 1909 at 86 Bride Street, Dublin, Ireland. She was the daughter of Francis Cole (a publican) and Margaret Verschoyle. ^{[1] [2][3]} Margaret had a twin brother called Francis. He was born at 8.30am and she arrived fifteen minutes later at 8.45am.

Sadly, Margaret died at the age of one year and eight months at her home in 86 Bride Street, Dublin. She died on 9th December 1910 from Broncho-pneumonia. ^[4][5] Margaret is buried in Glasnevin Cemetery, Dublin in the Garden section, plot CE 57.5-58. ^[6][7] Margaret's twin brother Francis lived to the age of 70 and died in 1979. He is buried in the same plot in Glasnevin Cemetery.
