Biography

Ester was born April 4, 1884, at Nygårds in the parish of Follinbo, as the daughter of Johannes Detlof Collberg and his wife Carolina Fredrika Eneqvist.^[1]

Immigrated to Boston 1907 on the ship Ivernia.^[2]

12 Sep 1907: marriage to Ernest H. Bjorkman in Boston, Maddachusetts.(Spouse's Father's Name: Johannes D Collberg; Spouse's Mother's Name: Carolina F Enequist)^[3][4]

Collberg Family Name

There are two Collberg families on the island of Gotland and they both originally come from Pommerania. Ester belongs to the first line, descendant of Jacob Hansson "Collberig"^[1]
