Biography

John was born in Royalton, NY, to James Collins and Anna Madden. [1]

The 1880 US Census shows John was living with his wife Mary (no documentation has been found regarding Mary's last name) and one year old son James, in Buffalo.[2]

The 1900 US Census shows John and his son James living with John's mother Ann and John is listed as single.

John died from bladder cancer, at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, NY on Dec. 18,1941. Prior to his death he had been a resident of St. Francis Home.[3]
