Gamaliel Collins was born on February 20, 1776, in Hardwick, Massachusetts. He is the son of Gamaliel Collins and Rachel Rich, his father, Gamaliel, was 33 and his mother, Rachel, was 32. He had four brothers and four sisters.
He died on 28 September 1825,[1] in his hometown at the age of 49, and was buried there.
