Biography

Barbara Ellen Collins, daughter of George W. Collins and Sarah (Newman) Collins, was born on 27 Aug. 1860 at Barbour County, West Virginia, USA. [1]

She married Thomas Kidwell[2] circa 1890.

She and Thomas appeared on the census of 10 Jan. 1920 at Womelsdorf, Randolph County, West Virginia.[3]

She married Frederick Chester Rose[1], son of Fernando D. Rose and Carolyn Mary (Dumar) Rose, on 29 Oct. 1927 at Philippi, Barbour County, West Virginia.[2]

She and Frederick appeared on the census of 10 April 1930 at Grafton, Taylor County, West Virginia.[4] She and Frederick appeared on the census of April 1940 at Grafton, Taylor County, West Virginia.[5]

Barbara died on 21 Nov. 1945 at Grafton, Taylor County, West Virginia,[1] at age 85 and was buried at Bluemont Cemetery, Grafton, Taylor County, West Virginia. Her memorial has a link to that of her husband.[6]
