Biography

Eddie Colter is a part of US Black heritage.

Eddie Lee Colter was born in 1939. He was the oldest child of Louis Coulter and Vinnie Logan.^[1]

Eddie attended school at Lang Syne School in Fort Motte, South Carolina.^[2]

He became a member of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, became a church trustee, and sang in the church choirs.^[2]

He married Freddie Marion Mitchell.^[2]

Eddie worked at Adluh Milling Company of Columbia for 35 years.^[2]

He passed away in 2003^[1][3] and was buried in Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church Cemetery in Saint Matthews, Calhoun County, South Carolina.^[4]
