Anna (Colville) Magill was born on 3 Jan 1836 in Ballystrudder, Islandmagee, County Antrim, Ireland, the daughter of John Colville and Eliza Hill. She was baptised on 18 Jan 1836 in 1st Islandmagee Presbyterian Church.[1]
Anna married John Magill on 11 Jul 1871 in 1st Islandmagee Presbyterian Church, County Antrim. He was a blacksmith and farmer from Temple-effin, Islandmagee and she was from Castletown, Islandmagee. The witnesses were William McKeen and Elizabeth Colvile.[2]
Anna died on 7 Mar 1893 in Temple-effin, Islandmagee, County Antrim, aged 57, as a result of an accidental dislocation of the neck by falling into a water barrel. An inquest determined that her death was instant. The information for her death certificate was received from A Mussen, MD, JP, Coroner for County Antrim.[3] She was buried in St John's Church of Ireland Graveyard, Islandmagee.[4]
