Biography

Ann Colvin was born on 18 July 1886 in Whifflet, Lanarkshire, daughter of James Colvin and Ann (Lundie) Colvin. ^[1]

In 1891 she lived in New Monkland, Lanarkshire. ^[2] In 1901 she lived in Musselburgh, Edinburghshire where she was a net worker. ^[3]

She married John Gillespie on 20 December 1906 in Musselburgh, Edinburghshire. ^[4] They had 7 children.

In 1911 she lived in Bellshill, Lanarkshire. ^[5]

She died on 24 April 1939 at 4 Stoneybank Road, Musselburgh, Midlothian. ^[6]
