Julien Comeaux, son of Jean Comeau and Ester LeBlanc, was born on 3 August 1793 in Louisiana, New Spain, and was baptized in on 24 January 1797 by Father Barriere during a mission in the Carencro area at the home of th widow Arceneau. The baptism was recorded in the registers of St. Martin of Tours Church.[1]
He was probably born in St. Landry Parish.[2]
Julien died at age 70 on 6 July 1864, and was probably buried at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Grand Coteau, St. Landry Parish.[4][5]
