Biography

Clarence was born in 1891. He is the son of William Conaway and Ella Waite. ^[1] He spent his childhood in St. Louis, Missouri. ^[2][3]In 1917, Clarence was married, living in Maplewood, Missouri. He was working as assistant to the credit manager for Continental Supply Co. ^[4]

In 1920, Clarence was living in Wichita, Texas with his wife, working as a credit manager.^[5]

In 1930, Clarence was back in Missouri, living in Maplewood with his wife. He did not have any children. He was working for the oil company as a credit man, a job he would keep for the rest of his working career. ^[6]

In 1940, Clarence was still living in Maplewood, Missouri with his wife, Ottelia. He held the same job, in the credit office of a petroleum company. ^[7]

In the early 1940s, when he registered for the draft, Clarence was married Ottelia. He was working for Shell Oil Company. ^[8]

1950 found Clarence in the same place. His mother-in-law had moved in with him. ^[9]

Clarence died in Feb 1965. He is buried in Bellerive Heritage Gardens, Creve Coeur, St. Louis County, Missouri,^[10]
