Biography

  • Rebecca, was born May 6, 1704[1], the daughter of Stephen Cone and Mary Hungerford of East Haddam Connecticut[2]
  • On March 14, 1729, she married Thomas Barnes, son of William Barnes, who was born Mar. 20, 1706, at East Haddam, and always lived there. Their children included:
  1. Eleanor, b. Feb. 10. 1730
  2. Thomas, b. May 12, 1732.
  3. Daniel, b. Jan. 23. 1735,
  4. Rebecca, b, Dec, 16, 1737
  5. Susannah, b. Aug. 14, 1739
  6. Jonah, b. July 11. 1741
  7. Dorcas, b. Nov, 6. 1743
  • Thomas died in 1759, but Rebecca lived until about 1801
