William Congdon was born in Cornwall, England.
William was born about 1816 in Cornwall, England, the son of Samuel Congdon.
He married Jane Venning on April 4, 1843 in the parish of Egloskerry, Cornwall.[1]
William died at the age of 92 years on December 13, 1904 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga county, Ohio, USA and was buried there next to his wife in Monroe Street Cemetery.

- Congdon-William, 92 years, 3 months, and 23 days, died Tuesday afternoon at 4 p. m. Funeral from late residence, No. 58 Hurd st., 2 o'clock Friday afternoon. Friends invited. 12/13/1904. age 92. Monroe Cemetery Cleveland, Ohio.[2]
