I wanted to suggest that you edit your tag(s) to show any surnames, locations or historical events that you're researching. Once you save your tags, you'll be able to click them and see a list of other WikiTree genealogists who are also researching those subjects. For surnames, there will be another tab on that page that shows you all of the profiles with that name.
You'll also get notifications in your daily & weekly emails when there is activity relevant to your tags.
You can read more about them on our Tags help page here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Tags
Please let me know if you have any questions! :-)
Thanks, Greeter Cindy
Welcome to WikiTree! Be sure to take a look at the link in the email you just got. It has important information to help you get started. :-)
WikiTree is different than other genealogy websites because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we share ancestors and work together as a BIG collaborative team!
What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research youd like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree?
Confirm your email address, and youll be given an opportunity to fill in the Tags and comments to tell us about your genealogical interests.
Once you volunteer, one of our Greeters will confirm your membership, and you'll be able to add your family to the tree!
Happy Hunting, Cindy
