Phillip Constable of Wassand is named on most but not all pedigrees as a son of SIr Robert Constable of Flamborough and Agnes Wentworth. Annotations to Glover's Visitation (citing MS 1571) states that he married and had issue, two daughters:
1. Dau married to Thomas Langdale of Houghton; and
2. Dau married to William Holme of Huntingdon, co York.
'Cousin Langdall' is named in the will of Phillip's nephew, Sir Marmaduke the Younger (2 Mar 1542 T.E. Vol VI 1902 1542 p. 200),
