Biography

Robert's mother was Barbara Catherall (Cathrall), only if Robert was a son of Thomas Constable of Great Grimsby, MP.[1] Thomas Constable of Great Grimsby had two sons with his two wives; according to Foster, the son of his first wife, Barbara Catherall, was Robert. [2] There is no evidence to identify this specific Robert Constable, of which there were very many.

The same source states that he had a sister Ursula.

He was possibly the father of Thomas Constable (1563-1650), who died in Boston, Massachusetts.

This profile is meant to be Constable-1411, father of Constable-685, which is quite incorrect. The information contained in the source "Lees of Virginia" has him married to Barbara Cathrall, who was the wife of Thomas Constable of Great Grimsby, MP, and thus supposedly Robert's mother.

Only if this Robert is the son of Thomas Constable of Great Grimsby MP, for which there is no evidence. Barbara was Thomas's wife.
