Biography
Eleanor was born in 1899 in Douglas, Isle of Man, the daughter of Edward Convery and his wife Lydia Jane Corlett.[1] She was baptised at St. Georges, Douglas on 31 Jan 1900.[2]
In the 1901 Census she is living with her parents and 3 older brothers in Douglas. Her father is a general labourer.[3] By the 1911 Census she has 8 siblings, including an older sister who was missing from the 1901 Census.[4] One of her older brothers is also missing. Her father is a general labourer for the Harbour Board.
She married John James Kissack Mylrea, a returned soldier and coach painter in Douglas on 08 Feb 1921.[5] They had one son.
Her husband followed his parents to Sydney, NSW in 1922 and she migrated in 1923, departing England on 27 Nov 1923 for Sydney on board the "Hobsons Bay".[6]
She died in Banksia, NSW in 1961.[7][8]
