Biography

William married Martha Shynn in about 1831 in Maldon, Essex, England. The couple had 11 children: Ebenezer Wake Cook, Mary Wake Wright Halford Cook, Baby Cook, Emma Cook, William James Cook, Mary Caroline Cook, John Thomas Cook, Charles Benjamin Cook, Martha Cook, Naomi Cook and Hannah Susannah Cook.[1]

Charles was born on 1 July 1839 in Maldon, Essex, England. He was the son of William Cook and Martha Shynn.[2][3]

In 1851 Charles (age about 11) was living in Woodham Ferris, Essex, England.[4]

When Charles was 24 he married Sarah Quinn on 26 March 1864 in Wandiligong, Victoria, Australia. The couple had 7 children: Elinor Violet May Cook, John Henry William Cook, Jean Cook, Alice Mary Cook, Emily Naomi Cook, Martha Jane Cook and Sarah Fanny Cook.[4]

Charles died at the age of 87 on 12 July 1926 in Age: 87/Malvern, Victoria, Australia.[6][4][7]
