Rachel Malvina Cook was born in Richmond, New Hampshire in 1823, the daughter of Simeon Cook and Rachel Holman.
She married Joseph Brown Smead on 16 Nov 1842 in Westminster, Vermont. She died in 1900 at Brattleboro, Vermont and is buried at the Mount Caesar Cemetery, Swanzey, NH.
