Biography

Soldier listed as having fought at the Battle of Gettysburg, was wounded, and taken to the Camp Curtin Hospital in Harrisburg for treatment. His state of birth is unknown so searching for veterans enlistment and service records is not possible.

His name is spelled 'Cork in an article in the Harrisburg Telegraph dated May 5, 1870. [1]

He died there and was buried in a special section of the Harrisburg Cemetery for Civil War veterans of up to 155 soldiers.

Little is known of his life, this profile created in hopes he can be connected to a family tree or relative. Find A Grave: Memorial #101059561
