Florence Elizabeth WATSON and John Hartley COOK were married on 30 November 1928 in Woollahra, New South Wales, Australia[2].

SIR JOSEPH and Dame Mary Cook's fourth son, Mr. John Hartley Cook, was quietly married early in November to Miss Florence Watson, daughter of Mrs. J. B. Watson, of Woollahra.
The ceremony was kept a secret from the many friends of the bride and bridegroom until this week, when it was announced as a Xmas surprise.
The young couple are at present honeymooning at Robertson and Canberra.

He passed away on 23 May 1940 at the Wentworth Falls in Katoomba, New South Wales, Australia[4].

SUDDEN DEATH OF MR. J. H. COOK
Mr. John Hartley Cook, 47, solicitor, of Bellevue Hill, son of Sir Joseph and Lady Cook, died suddenly to-day at Wentworth Falls, where he had been holidaying with his wife. He became ill last night.
Partner in a Sydney law firm, Mr. Cook specialised In industrial law. He was an old boy of Newington College.
He is survived by his widow and a son, Adrian, aged 10.
The funeral will leave the Methodist Church, Stanmpre, after a service at 3 p.m. to-morrow.

MR. J. H. COOK.
The death occurred at Wentworth Falls of Mr. John Hartley Cook, of Bellevue Hill, at the age of 44. He was a son of Sir Joseph and Lady Cook.
Mr. Cook was educated at Newington College, and later was articled to the late Mr. John Stinson. He joined the firm of Pigott, Stinson, Macgregor, and Palmer in 1924, and had since then been a well-known figure in the legal profession.
