Biography

William was born 4/15/1891 in California. His father was William Edwin Cook Sr (IL) and his mother was Rafaella Maria Carillo (CA). In 1900 he was living with his parents and siblings in Santa Rosa. CA where his father was a day laborer. He married Jimella Cambra on 6/14/1914 in Sonoma county, CA. Jimella and Bill lived in Santa Rosa, CA where he worked as an electrician. he was also a Sonoma county sheriff's deputy for several years. He died 9/4/1961 and is buried with Jimella and other family members in the Santa Rosa Rural Cemetery (Plot Rural EHC 64).
