Note: Mrs. Will Kendrick of Irving, whose death occurred April 18 at 6 a.m., was buried at Avery on Wednesday by Clarksville Funeral Home. The service was conducted at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. Lynn McBride, pastor of Avery Baptist Church. Pallbearers were J. B. Boze, Morris Cruce, Fred Meador, Jap Jackson, J. E. Medford, Orville Bearden, Joe Wilburn and G. G. McCollough. Born in Oklahoma June 30, 1898, as Madora Katherine Cook, daughter of the late Riley and Rosa Lee Cook, Mrs. Kendrick was a resident of Red River County 47 years. She was married July 24, 1913, at Pittsburg, Texas. Surviving are her husband, a son, J. L. Kendrick, Irving; daughters, Mrs. Jewel Davis and Mrs. Dorothy Faughtenberry, both of Irving, also nine grand children. Buried Avery, Red River County, Texas, United States. Marriage 24 JUL 1913. [8]
