Biography
Aunt Nellie was the Family Historian. She inherited the Bible of Harris & Millie Cooke, her parents, and also kept an extensive photo record of the family. This included photos of the 1920's Reunion of the family. These photos include the Home of her Parents, "Fairfield", where she and Joe talley were married.
Interestingly, even with 4 sons, Harris and Millie couldnt seem to get the fence in front of "Fairfield" repaired, as Nellie's Reunion photos show!!
The couple had no issue. They are buried at Oakwood United Methodist Church in Cumberland.
