Cook-31467 and Cooke-3897 appear to represent the same person because: they share the same parents and the same married surname, Lanier.

Do you know if there was any evidence given on how Mary was identified as daughter of Henry? I'm not interested in the Laniers but rather Henry Cook. This Henry might be a duplicate of another here but there isn't enough detail to be sure.
