In the 1881 census, John Coombe (44, coach carpenter born Budkock), wife Lavinia L. Coombe (42 born Feock) and children William Coombe (20), Richard Coombe (18), Mary Coombe (16), Ellen Coombe (11), Thomas B. Coombe (9), Isaac Coombe (5) and Abraham B. Coombe (2) are living at 9 Parade Street, Penzance. All the children were born in Penzance[2][3]
