Obituary

OBITUARY

New Market - Our community was shocked Saturday noon, when the word reached town that Grant Cooper had died at his home two miles east of town. He had been bedfast but a few days with typhoid fever, having kept up as long as posible to wait on his wife, who has been very sick for several weeks. The funeral was held at the Methodist church at Gravity, Sunday afternoon.

Sunday his father, J. Cooper died from the same disease and was buried Monday afternoon, the funeral services were held at the Dallas Center church and interment in the Dallas Center cemetery. The sorrowing family certainly have the sympathy of the entire community.

Another son and brother Walter Cooper, having died of the same fever about a month ago.
