Capt Leonard Cooper III served with Virginia Militia during the American Revolution.

Military Service: Captain - 4th Virginia Regiment Revolutionary War needs citation

Leonard was Lieutenant during the Revolutionary War and fought at the Battle of Point Pleasant [1]

Captain Leonard Cooper received a land warrant of 4,666 acres of land for his 7-years service in the American Revolution. Reference "Soldiery of W.Va." by Virgil A. Lewis.
