Biography

Anna Copley was born on May 28, 1846 in Wayne County, Virginia, United States .[1]

In the 1860 census Ann Copley (age 14) was in Wayne County.[2]

Anna (16) married Joel Roland Salmons (20) (born on December 20, 1842 in Lawrence County, Kentucky; son of Rowland (Sammons) Salmons Jr. and Nancy (Cox) Sammons) on March 1, 1863 in Lawrence County.[3] [4] Their known children were:

In the 1870 census Ann Sammons (age 24) was in Lawrence County.[5]

In the 1880 census Anna Sammons (age 29), keeping house, was the wife of Joel Sammons in Patrick, Lawrence County.[6]

In the 1900 census Annie Salmons (age 54) was the wife of Joseph Salmons in Magisterial District 6, Lawrence County.[7]

Anna died on May 10, 1908 in Lawrence County, Kentucky, United States, aged 61. She was buried in Salmons Cemetery, Lawrence County.[1]
