Ellen was born in 1881^[1] She was the daughter of James Corbett and Fanny Martin. She was christened Helen Elizabeth on 6th May 1883 in Cobham, surrey, England^[2] She was living with her parents and siblings at Tartar Hill, Cobham, Surrey, England and she was attending school in 1891^[3] She was a servant living with the Keays family at Anglesea Road, Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey, England and she was working as a Housemaid Domestic in 1901^[4] She married Arthur Benstead in Cobham, Surrey, England in 1907^[5] She was living with her husband and children in Walton On Thames, Surrey, England in 1911^[6] She was the mother of 5 other children. She was living with her husband and children at 9 Manor Road , Walton On Thames, Surrey, England and she was on Unpaid Domestic Duties in 1939^[7] She passed away in 1960^[8]
