Biography
Lot was born in 1857. He was the son of Joseph Cordell and Nancy Pitman. He passed away in 1924 [1].
Research notes
Spelling of given name is variously Lott or Lot. Since Lot is inscribed on his grave marker, that is taken as preferred name. Similarly, for his grandfather, presumably his namesake, Lott Pitman, both spellings were used in records. However, his grandfather has a grave marker with Lott inscribed.
