Biography

Ezekiel Catlett Cordell was born on 28 Mar 1841 in Rock Spring, Walker, Georgia, United States, son of Jeremiah Cordell (1815–1876) and Mary Magdaline Whisnant (1813–1881). [1]

Ezekiel married Eliza Jane McDaniel (born in 1842; daughter of Eli McDaniel). Their son was Henry Stephenson Cordell (1881–1963).

In 1900, Ezekiel was living in Chestnut Flat, Walker, Georgia. [2]

Ezekiel died in 1916 in Walker, aged 74. He was buried in McIntyre Cemetery, Rock Spring, Walker County, Georgia. [1]

1st marriage: Eliza J. McDaniel - date unknown - had one son, Henry S. Cordell, born in 3/1882. Eliza J. died in 1884.

Marriage: 1/12/1892 @ Walker Co., GA, to Mary Ann Elizabeth Pearce.

1900 Federal Census taken 6/7/1900, for Walker Co., GA: Ezekiel Cordell, b. Mar, 1841, age 59; Mary A. E. Cordell, b. July, 1833, age 66; Henry S. Cordell, b. March 1882, age 18. [3]
