Melanie Cormier was born on November 25, 1878 in Shediac, Westmorland, New Brunswick, Canada.[1]
Melanie (18) married Amos Babineau (24) (born about 1872 in New Brunswick; son of Sylvain Babineau and Judith Ouellette) on May 18, 1897 in Nova Scotia. Their known son was Leo Edward Babineau (1901– ).
Melanie died on July 28, 1971 in Amherst, Cumberland, Nova Scotia, Canada, aged 92. She was buried in Saint Charles-Nativity Roman Catholic Cemetery, Amherst, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, Canada (plot: Row 31, #4).[2]
