...My great-grandfather was George Houston Corn (born 1871). I learned most of this from a newspaper article circa 1949:
He was a peace officer, sheriff and JP in Baird, TX for sometime. He lived and died in Baird after moving from Paris, through Putnam.
He had 5 sons: Irving (maybe Irvine), Raymond, Lowell, all of Baird as of then (1949); Ben, a railroader in Marshall, and Weldon in Ajo, AZ.
He had 2 daughters: O.B. Lamb of Ajo is one.
Had brother named Charles of L.A. and a sister Mrs. Will Lamb of Grandfield, OK.
My grandfather, Lowell, is dead but is survived by all 5 of his children, all of which I am close to. Please let me know if I can help. Thanks!
Robert Stacy Corn, Richardson, TX
