Biography
Geneviève Côté was born about 1774 in Province de Québec. She was the daughter of Gabriel Cote and his first wife Élisabeth Vaillancourt. At about age 20 Geneviève married Louis Saindon on 17 Nov 1794 in Saint-Jean-Baptiste parish in L'Isle-Verte. There were nine known children born into this marriage. Geneviève died at age 83 on 22 Oct 1857 in Rivière-du-Loup; she was buried two days later in Saint-Georges parish cemetery in Cacouna.
