She became a widow in 1704.[5] Joan died in 1720 and was buried on June 11, 1720 in Morwenstow.[6]
Research Notes
Joan Cottle marriage to Anthony Edye in 1668.[7] Could she have been previously married before John Kingford? She has the title 'Mrs.' in their marriage record, and Joan Cottle's marriage to Edye doesn't have that. This would make her about 50 when she had Margaret and about 70 when she died.
