Biography

Bernie was born in 1895. He was the son of James Cottle and Susanna Whitaker. He passed away about 1983. Bernie married Lucy Caudill and had one child, Garland Cottle who was killed during WWII while flying a plane over Okinawa, Japan. Garland was a fighter pilot. Uncle Bernie and Aunt Lucy are buried together in the Caudill Cemetery in Morehead Ky.
