Obituary

Late Wm. Countryman Buried at Morewood

William Countryman died on August 11th at the age of seventy years leaving a wife formerly Bertha Fetterly and one son, Gordon, also four sisters, Mrs. Wm. G. Hall, Morrisburg, Mrs. Thomas Parker and Mrs. W.A. Durant, Chesterville, and Mrs. D. Gault, Manotick.

He was a director of the Morewood Milk Company and a member of the Morewood Loyal Orange Lodge 653 for forty-five years. The Orange Order conducted the funeral in its impressive manner on Wednesday, August 12. A large number of floral tributes were received which betoken the high esteem in which he had been universally held during his seventy years residence on his farm one mile south east of Morewood. Interment was made in the Morewood United Church Cemetery." ~edited from obituary.
