Biography
Charles Couture was born on December 7, 1816 in Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse, Bas-Canada, son of Alexis Couture (1772–1849) and Catherine Côté (1788–1835).[1]
Charles (30) married Adélaïde Mateau (20) (born on February 25, 1827 in Saint-Gervais, Bas-Canada) on June 30, 1847 in Saints-Gervais-et-Protais, Saint-Gervais, Canada-Est. [2]Their daughter was Délima Couture (1853– ).
