She was the 4th daughter of Mary Laing and the Hon Lt-Col William James Coventry, of the 7th Hussars, the 2nd son of George William Coventry, 7th Earl of Coventry.
On 12 February 1873 she married 1ly George Seaham Tucker de Windt, the eldest son of Capt Clayton de Windt. He died on 26 October 1876 (dsp) without children.
On 22 July 1879 she married 2ly widower John Henry Empson, without children. He shot himself on 29 August 1881.
In late 1881 she married 3ly as his 1st wife, the Hon Frederick Standish O'Grady, later 6th Viscount Guillamore (1918), the 6th son of Standish O'Grady, 2nd Viscount Guillamore (1794-1848) and Gertrude Jane Paget (died 1871), without children.
She died on 12 January 1910. Her widower remarried in 1911, with issue one daughter.
