Biography
James was baptised on 7 August 1791 in Rangeworthy by parents Samuel and Ann. [1]
On 16 October 1820 James married Catherine Howse in Bristol. [2]
The couple baptised the following children in Rangeworthy;
- 1823 Elizabeth
- 1832 Hannah
- 1832 Samuel
In 1837 they baptised son William. James was a labourer living in Rangeworthy. [3]
The are also marriage records for Mary (father James) b. 1826 who married Thomas Mills in 1848
In 1841 the James and Catherine were living in Rangeworthy with son William. James was an Agricultural Labourer. [4] James Catherine and William were living in Iron Acton in 1851. [5]
James died age 69 in 1859. He was buried on 1st January 1860 in Iron Acton. [6]
